kariarm
Is the Whole30 Spinach Frittata considered a full meal template? I've read about eggs being protein vs. fat and just can't decide. Should I add more protein and more fat or would it be a sufficient meal? Thank you!
Administrators ladyshanny Posted April 30, 2018 Administrators Share Posted April 30, 2018 I'm not sure what frittata you are referring to but eggs are a protein and the serving size for one person is as many eggs as you can hold in one hand without dropping (3-4 is a good start). Then you would want to add a serving or two of fat and vegetables in the amount of approximately 2-3 cups cooked (or equivalent).
kariarm
Thank you. I have the Whole 30 cookbook -- it calls for 6 eggs. Not sure I could eat half, but can hold 3 eggs! I just started today and could hardly eat my breakfast at 6:20. I had to try again around 9. My body doesn't like eating in the morning and I've read it will take time! So, I will eat as much of the frittata as I can! Should I also add more veggies and plated fat?

kariarm
Wow - ok. Thanks! I have much to learn (and eat - haha)! I wasn't sure if the recipes in the cookbook were stand alone and full meals ... but I'm getting there!
