Yes, either ripe or green, they're considered a starchy carb so recommendation is a fist sized serving of starchy carb at least once a day - for more info on how much carb you should eat, you can google 'whole30 starchy carb' and you should get some previous discussions.

Also, no commercially made plantain chips :)
