Eat natural food friend
Hi new Whole30 friends. I’m Shannon and I hope to make eating natural a new way of life. Right now I weigh 295 pounds. I’m in my 40’s. Work as a nurse in a large hospital. My youngest child is graduating this month. It’s time for me to take my health seriously and heal myself from the inside out. My weight is out of control and I have knee issues. I haven’t been able to enjoy my favorite thing in life, traveling for a very long time. When I travel I just feel uncomfortable and miserable. 5/9: My weight is 295. First day of Whole30 went well. I prepped my food yesterday. I made whole 30 mayonnaise, Whole30 chili, Whole30 frittata, and chicken mixed with the mayo. Today I ate the frittata for breakfast at 10. Had black coffee and apple at 8am. For lunch ate the meat and mayonnaise with fresh spinach at 2. Then dinner was the chili at 630. Has some almonds before bed. I’m having issues with excessive sweating. Hope that goes away. My aches and pains that develop through the day at work are barely noticeable. Craving wine tonight and was tempted by ice cream that we get for nurses week. Didn’t partake. Day one of Whole30 completed. Wish cheese were a part of this. Looking at paleobailey website. Intrigued by some of her recipes. Checked out her links to helpful websites. JenJenRN
Well, hello fellow Nurse! So glad you are deciding to take care of yourself! I struggled a little with Nurses Week too. I ended up finding a lunch room tucked away in the back halls that was rarely used. Haha. Congrats on your journey to wellness!
