AmandaWat
I’m on my first week of Whole30 and I’ve been getting terrible leg cramps all night long. I am drinking tons of water and salting my food the same way I normally do. I had a banana 2 days ago (I’m not big on them) and I’ve added avocado for potassium. Can someone suggest some other things I should be eating or doing to help with this? Thanks!

Start with the low end of the serving size and add more as you get used to having it.
QuilterInVA
Kale and other dark green leafy vegetables and sweet potatoes have a lot more potassium than bananas.
Roya
I have heard eating a packet of mustard will help with leg cramps. Also pickle juice. Im sure there are compliant options in both of those items.

Cramping can be caused be electrolyte imbalance or dehydration so extra sodium would give those electrolytes and also help in water-retention. Worth a try! Babsie95
I had heard of the mustard thing too. I actually tried it out of pain and desperation one night and it did work and pretty quickly. Pickle juice also helps me with cramping. For me not wives tales but tried and true. I didn't actually believe it until it worked... for me anyway
