Stepford WASP
Do any of you have meal-planning templates or apps you like? I ordered ISWF (I always see that as NSFW) and a few cookbooks—all arriving Friday—which should give me some ideas. I also installed the Paleo Nom Nom app on my iThings, but I am looking for a tool that lets me plan 3x meals for an entire week (or month). I know I can print a month of and write meals into the blank spaces, but I'd rather not do that. Too static, Ideally, I'd find an app that lets me plan on the go and synch up to my various devices. I searched this board, but I didn't get specific results.
Aberrantatavia
If you have an iPad, paprika is a fantastic app, and one i use all the time! I can easily import recipes, create a menu plan, and a shopping list. One of the best apps I've ever used.

Aberrantatavia
I agree Johnny, it's incredibly easy as well. You can import from a lot of sites, and the ones that you can't you can easily cut and paste. I love everything about this app:)
cpb
Thanks for such a great tip! I hadn't come across Paprika and have been using MacGourmet (which I have had for ages) and MealBoard. Both are great, but have been wanting something that combines the functionality of the two (ie electronic cookbook and meal planner) and Paprika looks like it. I love everything about this app:) Can you use it on android devices too? I feel left out.
Aberrantatavia
Their website says they released an android version a couple of months ago. I have no idea what the interface is compared to the iPad.

Stepford WASP
I just wanted to pop back in and say that Paprika is excellent, thanks so much for the recommentation. I started working with it this weekend (as I read ISWF), and I really like that I can create a master grocery list and, from that, create a "need now" list, which I can email to myself or someone else. I was also very impressed that it automatically put fish sauce in the International aisle. I wish I could customize the way foods are grouped in the store, but this app is the best I've seen yet.
