macago
On the Whole30.com site, under WHOLE 30, CAN I HAVE, it states Almond Milk is approved by either making your own or using a "compliant brand, like NEW BARN UNSWEETENED. I went online to see where I could get it and on their site, under ingredients, it states the milk is comprised of organic almonds, water AND HONEY. It was my understand NO HONEY is allowed. What is it?

What is it? Take another look at which item you're looking at the ingredients for. It doesn't make sense there would be honey in an unsweetened product but possibly they put honey in the original or regular almond milk. No honey or other sweetners of any kind. Even if someone tells you that a product is compliant, it's up to you to apply the rules to the ingredients and if something like this comes up then the rules trump whatever someone else said. I just looked at the New Barn Website and the Unsweetened one is compliant but the Vanilla unsweetened actually has sugar in it which is rather shady but just make sure you read the ingredients of what you want to buy and if all ingredients comply, you're good to go.
