Elaine Cotton
Hi, can you tell me if gluten free fat is compliant please? My daughter in law has finished her first round and now always adds gluten free ‘margarine’ to mashed potatoes. Is this compliant ok for me. Thank you
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted June 20, 2018 Moderators Share Posted June 20, 2018 You would have to read the ingredients on the particular product she uses.
Elaine Cotton
Hi, thank you for your reply. Can’t see anything in the ingredients list but would you be able to look them over for me please? Thank you.
Administrators ladyshanny Posted June 20, 2018 Administrators Share Posted June 20, 2018 "rapeseed" is another word for canola and no, this would not be compliant for home use. Canola is only begrudgingly permitted when eating out otherwise no one would ever be able to eat out on a Whole30.

laura_juggles
Ghee would also be gluten free and it's a much more natural (and compliant) food than a margarine that was concocted in a lab.
