Toni78
I am eating better with more vegetables and cooking more than I have in years. To me it seems to be enough food in a day. It really is more than what i was eating before Whole 30 although i was snacking on chips, etc. It's very hard for me to have much of a variety because I am on a low histamine diet so I can't have bananas, eggs, and any dried fruit which all would help manage this diet. I judge how tired I am by how hard it is to make it up my apt stairs and now it's a lot harder. Any suggestions?
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted July 4, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 4, 2018 Bananas and dried fruit would actually not help you 'manage' this diet. Are you eating according to the template? 3 meals a day including protein, fat and veggies? Do you salt your food? Drink 1/2oz of water per pound of body weight? There are loads of variety even in a low histamine diet that don't include bananas and dried fruit.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted July 4, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 4, 2018 You might find this helpful: https://www.stupideasypaleo.com/2015/09/26/what-is-histamine-intolerance/ Also, it's not unusual to be more tired during the first week or so of whole30, so while you should think about the things SugarcubeOD mentioned above and check out the article for extra tips, at least some of what you're feeling may be normal as your body adjusts to what you're eating now.
