Talk about a learning experience!

I started with a Whole25 right after Thanksgiving. Talk about a learning experience! I cannot even begin to describe how empowering it has been. My motivation: lose a few lbs, deal with never-ending digestive issues, and clear up my skin. It became so much more than that.... I felt in control, empowered, excited and UNBELIEVABLY HAPPY! I wasn't even aware I felt blue in the first place. Euphoric is the right word!

I'm back and feeling much wiser.... Today is Day1 of a new Whole30.

1. Checking ingredients is a habit. All (cans of tuna, balsamic, etc.) are not created equal. I never slipped up but I have random ingredients like a 1/2 gal of coco milk I'll never drink.

2. I didn't do so well slaying that sugar dragon, so no fruit will be used to feed that B**** this time(I mean, beast.)

3. Nuts = breakouts. Staying away this time!

4. Salt = yet another addiction. Limiting what I sprinkle on my veggies.

5. Also, I want to go back and set better goals and take advantage of the fabulous resources in the emails. I practically want to pay the $14.95 again...in fact, as ridiculous as it sounds.... I MIGHT!

Started my day today with eggs on top of salad with lamb sausage. A month ago, I would have laughed out loud as I typed that. Today, well, it just feels great!

Congratulations on how you're feeling Jojo and good luck for your next round. Getting prepped for this has been a real learning experience with regard to reading the ingredient list - even on something you think is compliant. Looking forward to hearing how you go with round 2!

Yep! Starting today...I was bummed I didn't make it to 30 during my last attempt. I had a few sips of wine then went off the deep end! :) I absolutely love the cookbook, Well Fed, so just went out to get some ingredients...waiting for my chocolate steak chili to heat up!
