JLollie
I ate these on days 1 & 4, I don't really feel about them like I feel about real chips, but more so like I do fresh carrot slices for guac. I read page 62 and it doesn't specifically mention plantains and only references vegetables. I tossed the bag on general principle though. Is a restart needed? GoJo09
It does mention it in this online resource https://whole30.com/whole30-program-rules/ "No commercially-prepared chips (potato, tortilla, plantain, etc.) or French fries either." If the ingredients were all compliant, I wouldn't start over, but continue to avoid them for the rest of your time.
JLollie
Thanks for the feedback, I was following the rules in the book. I got more familiar with the forum the night before I started.
snowflower
when I'm not doing a whole 30, I love to crush up a handful and sprinkle them on my taco salad! MMMMM
JLollie
Yeah they aren't my "go to" very often or very much. they're great and all, but I just rarely buy them. chips a cannot buy as I would EAT ALL THE CHIPS. I got these before I started W30; and there are two versions @ Trader Joe's and I could barely swallow the sweet version; it was just way way way too sweet.
