meleanashim
Hi! I’m on my Day 9 of my first Whole30. It’s going really well, but I sprained my ankle in training this morning. It’s very swollen and painful. I’m resisting taking pain medication because I’m stubborn and want to do this right. However, I’m hitting my pain threshold. Is it okay to take a pain med? And if my options are Aleve, Advil, and Tylenol, which one is most compliant? Thank you! Also, any other suggestions for Whole30 compliant remedies are welcomed. I’m already wearing a compression sleeve, using stim, and the game ready. I’m in a boot to take pressure off my ankle.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted August 2, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2018 It is okay to take pain meds if you need them. Take the one that will work best for you. If the swelling doesnt seem to be going down, definitely see a doctor.
