captainninjapeters
OMG. This is so good! If you guys haven't checked out this cookbook... it's magical.
kb0426
Isn't it amazing? I have made it with spaghetti squash and zucchini noodles. Both are delicious!
Pomme
I have been eyeing that page! I did make the "Sunshine Sauce" that is the basis of her pad thai, so I have an inkling for what's in store. The sauce does taste very peanutty!
Aberrantatavia
I haven't made either yet, I just bought well fed. I'm so excited to try all sorts of things out of it! I generally cook the way she does, prepping ahead, etc. so all of her stuff makes so much sense to me. Even her bowl thing, my grandmother had a wonderful ceramic bowl that I've looked to find for ages.
captainninjapeters
I am loving the concept of a "weekly cookup". I have never done that before and it has saved us so much time this week. It should really help when classes start up again. Cook for a day... eat for a week!
mrstrudo
Well Fed is the best cookbook ever.
sydneyjn
I love it so much, but for whatever reason I can't get behind spaghetti squash. I just double up the snap peas and cut them into thin strips! I might have to try it with zucchini noodles, though, that sounds great!
AmyS
Oooooohhh, I gotta make that soon!!
Callan
Well Fed should come in the mail for me today. I have a bag of sunflower seeds that I won't eat on their own... This might have to happen this weekend.
missmichelle82_
Awesome! This is on my list of things I'd like to make during this round of Whole30. I made Sunshine Sauce before and wasn't impressed, so this time I'm gonna try it with almond butter instead and see if I like that.
captainninjapeters
I actually did use almond butter in mine. Definitely works as a substitution.

Della Nova
I don't have well Fed yet! Can someone share the recipe here? A lot of her recipes are posted on her blog, "The Clothes Make the Girl". Here's the recipe: http://www.theclothesmakethegirl.com/2011/05/08/paleo-pad-thai/ I'm planning on trying it Saturday. I may try using almond butter for the Sunshine Sauce, because I wasn't too fond of the Sunshine Sauce the last time I made it. I'm also going to substitute shredded cabbage for the snap peas because I don't really like snap peas.

Pomme
Made this last night! It was as delicious as promised. So far, I have not had a "miss" from this cookbook. They are all truly well-crafted recipes, and they are making the W30 a taste adventure!
Moluv
I made this recipe last night exactly as the recipe states, except I made sunshine sauce with cashew butter and added red peppers and zucchini to the stirfry. It was fantastic- my husband loved it so much he viewed it as an act of devotion that I let him take the only leftovers for lunch today. I loved it so much I made a quicky stirfry for dinner with all the same flavors but just thrown together in the pan. Yum. Yum. May have to get her book! TracyP
Hmmmmm... This recipe seems to universally loved. I didn't really like it... Was just a bit of a dull, gloppy mess to me. I ate it, but it wasn't anything fab.... At this point I'm thinking I messed it up somehow.., cause really EVERYONE loves it.
Kirsteen
Don't worry Tracy, everyone's tastes are different. I've never made this recipie but my guilty secret is, no matter how much everyone raves about it, I really don't like the taste of ghee
TracyP
Ha! I got some pure cultured ghee....? Ick. I use it in a few things when the flavor won't really show up because the other flavors are so strong I've used another one from whole foods I like better, but it takes some getting used to! I'm not a huge fan either. Also the first time I cooked with coconut oil... It smelled like I was cooking everything in hand lotion. That was a weird weird moment. I like it now though
Susan W
Wait...you guys don't like ghee? Does not compute.
TracyP
It's ok. But I don't love it... I know... I'm swimming upstream on this one.
Kirsteen
Love love love coconut oil. Ghee is reserved for curries, chillis anything that'll kill the flavour until I use it up.
AmyS
I haven't tried ghee yet. I cannot stand unrefined coconut oil. Can.not. stand. it. I have a jar and I can't even open it. But the refined stuff (which has no smell) is the new black. Really.
