salsasis14
I bought plantains to make a hash, but they ripened too slowly, I went on vacation and now they are solidly brown and super soft (I threw them in the fridge before I left). Any tips for what to make with them?
Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted August 2, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2018 Slice them (as much as you can) and then pan fry them until crispy brown - plate and squeeze on fresh lime juice and some salt.... delish! I'll be right over to share!
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted August 2, 2018 Moderators Share Posted August 2, 2018 @SugarcubeOD has a good suggestion, or you can try mashed plantains: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.doyouevenpaleo.net/mashed-plantains/amp/
