Starting August 27th

I'm starting this journey on August 27th, the Monday after my last day of work. We recently relocated to a new town, which took about six months to relocate and in the process, I gained weight but more importantly have lost my routine of exercise and healthy eating.  I had a co-worker recently start Whole30 and the information he was providing was exactly how I want to live my life, both dietary and health-wise. I'm hoping this new home, town, and job (stay-at-home-mom) will be a fresh start to new habits (i.e. no longer eating a bag of chips with a beer after 8PM).

I'm most nervous about communicating my goals with family because I am not 'fat' and my family gets annoyed when I talk about my healthy eating. Without that support, I might be embarrassed to request specific foods and/or restaurants.

I understand. Just let them know why you are doing it and ask for their support. For me it’s I want to find out what foods I tolerate and which I don’t and this will help do that. It’s not about the weight loss it’s about feeling better, getting healthy and improving on things. I am looking to possibly restart on Mon as well.

I started today too! Looking forward to my second whole30.  I'm happy to discuss healthy eating with you! I'm not doing it to lose weight, simply because it's time to clean up my eating! We moved into our new home the end of June and I've been all out of wack!  Couldn't wait for September 1 to start, so I started today :)
