Smoked Meat/Dehydrated Fruit

Yes, you can have dehydrated tomatoes or dehydrate them yourself -- just be sure all the ingredients are okay. Many dried fruits and vegetables have sulfites added to help preserve color, and sulfites are against the rules for Whole30.

Smoking meat is also fine, as long as all the ingredients comply with Whole30 rules -- check all your ingredients for any spice rubs or marinades or sauces you use to be sure they're okay for Whole30.
