Sheadle113
I had a seeeeeeeerious meltdown today, Day 8 of my whole 30 because all of the meat I had purchased went bad due to a refrigeration problem. I cried and cried and couldn’t stop thinking how unfair it is that other people can eat whatever they want. I was able to rally and make something compliant but oh em gee please tell me I am not the only one mellllllting when all of my prep ends up being for naught. Moderators ShannonM816 Posted September 9, 2018 Moderators Share Posted September 9, 2018 I think losing a bunch of meat is a good reason for a meltdown any time, much less in a Whole30. Plus it happened on day 8, when you're still not to the really good part of the program, so you probably don't have a lot of evidence that this is actually doing good things for you yet (timeline for reference: https://whole30.com/2013/08/revised-timeline/). Good for you for hanging in there! It will get better. I hope the refrigeration problem was an easy fix. (Also your comment about how unfair it is that other people can eat whatever they want made me think of this article, which is humorous, but hits a little too close to home sometimes in a Whole30: https://whole30.com/2012/01/the-five-stages-of-food-grief/)
