stargazer
Hello! I'm on day 3 of my first Whole30. I've ordered ISWF, but it won't arrive for a couple days. This seems like a silly question, but I'm confused on how much fat to eat at each meal. In looking at the Meal Planning PDF, it says: "Add fat in the following recommended amounts per meal: All oils and cooking fats (olive oil, animal fats, etc): 1-2 thumb size portions All butters (ghee, coconut butter, nut butters, etc): 1-2 thumb size portions Coconut (Shredded or flaked): 1-2 open (heaping) handfuls Olives: 1-2 open (heaping) handfuls Nuts and seeds: Up to one closed handful Avocado: 1/2-1 avocado Coconut milk: Between 1/4 and 1/2 of one (14oz) can" So, I've been picking and choosing certain things from this list at each meal. For instance, some meals I'll add a thumb size portion of coconut oil and a closed handful of cashews, and then another meal I'll add 1/4 can coconut milk and olives. Is this the right idea, or should I be intaking more fat at each meal?
