Random Question about Thai Food

Even though I'm on day 19, a very interesting but random questions just popped into my head.

Would getting yellow thai curry (or any curry in fact) be an acceptable thing as far as reintroducing legumes? The thai restaurant that I'm thinking of sports things like fried tofu and curry (and they may very well use soybean or corn oil for their foods).

I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I am genuinely curious.
