MyWar Posted January 3, 2013 Share Posted January 3, 2013 I'm on day 3 of the January Whole 30, and I feel like I'm coming down with something. I've heard of carb flu, but does it actually manifest as a stuffy nose? I'm really congested and I can feel some post nasal drip. This has also led to some intestinal distress along the lines of (CAUTION: TMI) IBS-D symptoms. I have IBS which is one of the reasons I'm doing this again. I've done two W30's before and don't remember the stuffiness, so is this a cold? Should I add in some probiotics? Thanks! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Renee Lee Posted January 3, 2013 Share Posted January 3, 2013 It's honestly too early to tell. If you've done W30s before and this wasn't a symptom, you're PROBABLY getting a cold. I'd toss back some vitamin D, have some bone broth and pray it's not the flu that's circulating. I got that right before Christmas and it was NASTY.
