I HATE coconut oil. Substitute suggestions?

There are refined coconut oils that don't have the flavor of coconut. It'll still be solid in a jar, but somewhere on the label it'll say "refined." 

For most cooking, olive oil or avocado oil or ghee will work. If you need something that stands up to higher temperatures, like if you're searing meat, then ghee or clarified butter, the refined coconut oil I mentioned above, or an animal-based fat like lard, tallow, duck fat, or chicken fat.
