Quick Reaction to Reintroduction of Non-Gluten Grains

I just started on my reintroduction and reintroduced non-gluten oatmeal for breakfast this morning and pretty instantly had reaction with acid reflux and gas.  I was planning on having rice with my lunch, but since I am already feeling blah (after feeling so amazing on my Whole30), do I really need to continue to add these foods in today?  I think I know the answer but would love to get others feedback.

Hi @TeresaB - you don't have to continue on with other reintroductions today if you're feeling badly. I would recommend that you go back to Whole30 until you're feeling better and then possibly try a different non-gluten grain such as rice and see what happens. Then you'll know if it is a reaction specific to oatmeal or not.

Thanks for the quick response.  I will definitely take your advice.  I was planning on doing the fast track reintroduction, but it may take me longer than I planned, since I may need to separate out certain foods, but no regrets I have definitely learned something.
