clpas
Hi! I’m starting tomorrow because my doctor recommended it for severe chronic pain in my muscles in my hips/back due to inflammation. Has anyone experienced good results for anti-inflammation? I’m sick of being in pain and am really hoping this will help. I am also in college so I’m nervous about having time to prep all of these meals (I literally never cook). That being said, I’m a super motivated person and want to feel better and am willing to do anything to get off of Advil every day. Any advice?? Administrators ladyshanny Posted November 13, 2018 Administrators Share Posted November 13, 2018 Hi @clpas - The Whole30 is naturally anti-inflammatory so the majority of people can expect to experience some decrease in their inflammation. Take a peek though our testimonials from users. A great majority of them report decreased or eliminated pain. https://whole30.com/2011/06/the-whole30-a-z-real-life-testimonials/

I have a pretty severely arthritic ankle due to an old volleyball injury. The inflammation in that had gotten so bad, that I could not run, as it was too painful. After my first whole 30, I was able to run again. I continue to eat Whole 30 about 95% of the time, and it only gives me a problem now if my eating habits drift too far from Whole30. I hope you achieve similar results - but I would never consider going back to the way I used to eat, the health gains I've experienced are too profound!
