Christina Quigley
Silly question, although I am sure it's been asked from someone before and I just don't see it. I don't like thinking about breakfast...thinking about lunch, dinner, and snacks is enough for my brain and decision making power to handle. My question is, would it be sufficient to eat 2 hard boiled eggs and some wilted spinach in the A.M? I don't know how important variety in regards to breakfast is....any feedback is appreciated! Moderators ShannonM816 Posted December 21, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 21, 2018 Eating the same thing each day is fine. Two eggs and some spinach is probably not sufficient, though. When eggs are your only protein, have as many whole eggs as you can fit in one hand, so probably 3-4. Have a serving or two of fat -- maybe mayo or guac with your eggs, or a handful of olives, or whatever sounds good. And aim for 2-3 cups of vegetables. One plus to eating a big breakfast like this, you're less likely to need snacks as your meals will easily keep you satisfied for 4-5 hours at a time.
