WeinCh
I'm doing a new round starting Jan 1 and need to refresh my memory on milk substitutes. On my maintenance I do almond milk. I don't think I did any nut milks first time around as I know the carrageenan which is in many almond milks is not acceptable.
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted December 30, 2018 Moderators Share Posted December 30, 2018 Almond milk is fine, as long as all the ingredients in the one you buy are compliant. If you're mostly using it in coffee, a lot of people like Nutpods brand creamers. I'm not sure how long ago you did your previous Whole30, but in the last couple of years it's become easier to find compliant nut milks. Coconut milk can also be a good option, especially for cooking with -- look for cans of it, it may be near curry sauces in your local grocery store.
