Kristen Kupersmith Owen
Just started out on January 1. I'm not a "New Year's Resolutioner", per se, but read the book and was motivated in October, and then thought it wouldn't be very wise/fun to be Whole-30y'ing it up during the holidays. ;-) I live in Fort Collins, CO. Not sure what else to put on here, except, "Hi healthy community!" Kristen

amylynn
I'm on Day 4 too, and I have the exact same story as you. I bought It Starts With Food in October, but with all the work potlucks/holidays and general stress and large quantities of sugar around at this time I wanted to give myself the best chance to succeed. I'm so happy to be doing this so far, its tough but I know its going to be worth it in the long run! Congrats on being at Day 4, hope you succeed! Susan R
I think we're all on the same day - that's great! What are your experiences so far? I had the strangest dreams last night - food dreams. I cheated with homemade pecan brittle (while I was making it)! Especially strange since it's not something I would make. Oh, and I saw my deceased brother. It was nice to see my brother, even in my dreams. The only connection I can make is that he was always my taste-tester for new recipes. Anyone else seeing dead people? Secondly, I think my skin is getting clearer. Could it be clearing up that quickly? Alas, my belly bloat has not budged yet but I think that's because I ate too much on day three; I ate so much! Probably twice as much as I normally would. It was all Whole30 approved but three sweet potatoes throughout the day - REALLY!??!? Who does that! How about you guys and gals? What are you experiencing? ~Susan
paleo_xfit_momma
Is the belly bloating normal? Seriously, I noticed it yesterday (day 4 also) and was like "whawhat?!?!" & I think my skin may be improving in tone as well. It just looks better, you know what I mean? Anyways, I posted a new topic under "Is it just me?" & I'd really appreciate some feedback. Thanks! Amanda, in SoCal
amylynn
My belly bloat is just now slowly starting to go away, its still there, but it's not as pronounced as before. I've been having the crazy dreams too, no dead people, just gobstoppers and triscuits so far! I'm hoping next week to see some more improvement with all of this.
