kwalker1908
Good afternoon I was wondering if smoked seasonings are Whole 30 compliant and I have attached a picture of the one in question that I have used in the past. I have read that seasonings, salts, herbs, etc are compliant but I don't want to count myself out due to a technicality on the salt I used. Also, is Mud WTR Whole 30 compliant? I have enjoyed it in the past to replace coffee and lower my caffeine intake and would love to pick it back up again. Thank you so much. I know this can be tedious, but I appreciate any help you can provide. I am new to Whole30 and want to be successful.
laura_juggles
The ingredients aren't listed for the salt you've pictured. If it's just smoked salt, then it's fine. What in the ingredients of the other product are making you question if it's okay? All the ingredients are fine.
simmie
The MUD\WTR coffee alternative says it is cultured in organic oats. Wouldn't that make it not compliant? Yet it has the whole 30 approved logo on it????
laura_juggles
It means that the mushrooms are grown on oats. In the same way that Whole30 leaves it up to individuals if they want to/are able to be selective about what their meat animals are fed, Whole30 evaluated this product and decided that it's okay. It doesn't contain any oats.
