Amyjones Posted January 5, 2019 Share Posted January 5, 2019 Hi all, I’m 40 years old and am on day 4 of my Whole 30. I started spotting two days ago and it was indeed time for my period (28 days since the last one). However, this period is so weird. It’s like the blood is thicker and has a hard time coming out. When I put in a tampon, I can see it, but the real flow hasn’t started yet. It’s been about 18 hours since I first noticed the spotting. Could this be a side effect of the whole 30? I was pretty heavy into carbs and sugar before starting this diet, so it’s been quite a change all at once. Link to comment
MamaJ Posted January 10, 2019 Share Posted January 10, 2019 My cycle is very fast and furious on Whole30. Yours could change as a result of a diet change. I would suggest seeking the care of a medical professional, however, to ease your mind. Link to comment
