Allergic to coconut- substitutes???

Hi all-

I’m deathly allergic to coconut, however, I really want to make homemade sauces and dressings that are Whole30 compliant. What can I use instead of, say the, coconut cream for like the ranch dressing?

In general, any compliant nut milk can be used, but they tend to be thinner than canned coconut milk, so you may have to play with the amount needed.

If you Google whole30 plus whatever you want to make plus no coconut, you'll probably find options out there. Lots of people either dislike or are allergic to coconut, so there are probably options out there for the most common recipes you might want.
