But between a weekend trip in February, working fulltime, gathering the food / supplies I need, and preparing a few recipes in advance, I figured I better allow too much time vs. not enough. My famjam and I started Jan 3 but I really cut back on sugar, alcohol and carbs around December 27th or so - it really did make a difference - no abrupt change.
