Tina Borg
Hi, I just started the program. I’m also type 2 diabetic. I got a migraine on the first day. It’s the second day and I’m down in bed with a migraine still. Is this normal? I want so badly to have caffeine and sugar to ease the pain but staying strong. Any advice will help! Thanks!! Moderators ShannonM816 Posted February 12, 2019 Moderators Share Posted February 12, 2019 If you're going through caffeine withdrawal, headaches can be pretty normal. Drink lots of water, be sure you're salting your food, and be sure you're eating enough. Whole30 doesn't actually require you to give up caffeine, so if this is caffeine withdrawal, you could have some tea or coffee and see if it helps.
