barronemily
Why is the new primal classic bbq approved if there are 4g of added sugar? There is a whole30 stamp of approval on this. Is it because there is pineapple juice in it? I want to make sure I understand. Thanks! :)
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted March 2, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 2, 2019 All you need to look at is the list of ingredients, you don't need to pay any attention to the nutrition info panel. If there is sugar or sweetener of any kind listed in the ingredients, it's not okay. In this case, there are no sweeteners listed, just fruit juice, which is compliant. (There's a downloadable Sneaky Sugars list here, if you wonder what kinds of names sugar/sweeteners might be called in ingredients lists: https://whole30.com/pdf-downloads/)
