Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted March 12, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 12, 2019 Yes but not to recreate baked goods which is what I think you mean by 'rising' ingredients?
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted March 12, 2019 Moderators Share Posted March 12, 2019 Baking powder sometimes has cornstarch which isn't compliant, so you'd need to read the label. Not all brands do, but some do.
SchrodingersCat
If you need baking powder, a combination of baking soda and cream of tartare will substitute (noting the restriction on recreating baked goods). I used this when making a cake during reintro which only had sugar as a non-compliant ingredient.
