kristabella
I have some Teavana teas and realized that almost all of them have candied fruit in them (no wonder they are so good!) but I have some of the JavaVana Mate and I was wondering if it is compliant. Here are the ingredients: Black tea, roasted mate tea, cocoa bits, flavoring (chocolate, cappuccino), vanilla bits. I think the chocolate would make it no bueno, but wanted to double check! Thanks! I would worry a bit about cappuccino as a flavoring though. Not sure what that means.

Susan W
Also wonder what's in the vanilla bits? See..I am too trusting. I pictured vanilla bean put through a spice grinder. Sigh
kristabella
See..I am too trusting. I pictured vanilla bean put through a spice grinder. Sigh I figured the same. Sigh. I'll just assume it is no good and will not drink it until after. (I'm having a hard time finding some decent compliant teas.)
Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 5, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2013 I drink lots of Tazo teas from my regular grocery store and Tulsi teas from a specialty store. Whole Foods has dozens and dozens of good teas.
