jabisk
If it has sugar listed as one of the ingredients ( and I think it does), its a no go.
SarrizleP
Ingredients: Pork, Water, Sea Salt. Contains Less Than 2% Of The Following: Evaporated Cane Syrup, Celery Powder. Evaporated cane syrup, so, nope.
TrayS
I have some leftover bacon of this exact variety that I am going to use during my W30 instead of throwing it away. It's technically noncompliant but the amount of sugar is so minute that I know for me it won't be an issue (I don't have a sugar dragon anymore, if I did I wouldn't touch it). But this is not my first w30 and this time my goals are as much geared toward improving my kitchen habits regarding waste and local/seasonal food as they are toward compliance. I would say this is an example of the small amount of subjectivity one learns over time (though w30 rules are w30 rules). But I won't be buying anymore of it until afterward. Michaela Elmore Cogswell
A good temp sub for us has been to get proscuitto. Almost every pack I've picked up is compliant. We found some pork belly and we'll be making our own. You can also order it from US Wellness Foods.
