The Dinner Party Salad Predicament

I'll be heading to a big family dinner with in-laws and other family this weekend. This will by no means be simple... our family dinners tend to borderline gourmet, i.e. multiple courses, a big main dish, etc

Thankfully my sis-in-law asked me to bring a salad for the crowd, which lends itself to Whole30 of course, and I'm glad to bring something that I can definitely eat while staying on track!

I'm at a loss for interesting Whole30 side salad recipes though. A regular "romaine, cucumbers, tomatoes" garden salad would be out of place with the rest of the spread.

Any Whole30 chefs out there with suggestions?

I love a salad made from kale and shredded brussels sprouts with a Dijon and shallot vinaigrette (Annie's Dijon was compliant last I checked...read your labels). Top with some toasted sliced walnuts. It sounds really simple, but it's delicious.
