Relcowgill
Hi Whole30 fam, Im on Day 6 of my third round of Whole30 and just found out I need to have a wisdom tooth removed on Day 21. Looking for recipes to cheer me up and keep me going until I can eat solid foods again. Are popsicles allowed? What about milkshakes?? (Just kidding.. unless you have a recipe that falls outside the SWYPO rule, in which case this is not a joke!) Sincerely, Looking forward to unlimited scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, and applesauce

Sincerely, Looking forward to unlimited scrambled eggs, mashed potatoes, and applesauce I love whole30 soup purees. There are so many delicious ones that I have routinely had these for breakfast during past whole30s. You could really eat them for any meal. Well fed by Melissa Joulwan has amazing soups. Also Paleomg.com has my favorite sweet potato soup (savory not sweet). I would see if Whole30/Melissa recommends any egg protein powders for during emergency situations/circumstances. Whole30 Certified Coach Terra Milliken Posted February 12, 2020 Whole30 Certified Coach Share Posted February 12, 2020 Here are a few more options of soups: https://littlebitsof.com/2017/02/roasted-parsnip-carrot-soup/ https://www.cottercrunch.com/thai-coconut-cabbage-soup-paleo/ - you could use an immersion blender to blend up the cabbage more to make it easier on your sore mouth! https://www.delish.com/cooking/recipe-ideas/recipes/a50672/cauliflower-chowder-recipe/ - sub arrowroot flour for the flour and use non-dairy milk (I use cashew). I also use an immersion blender at the end to make creamy. SO easy and tasty. Sometimes I add compliant chopped ham, but that might be a little tough after having your wisdom teeth removed. https://nomnompaleo.com/post/152520388838/instant-pot-curried-cream-of-broccoli-soup https://nomnompaleo.com/post/129592158903/simple-egg-drop-soup Hope this helps! Relcowgill
For anyone else who comes across this thread and wonders if it's possible to finish your whole30 in this situation, here's how it went for me and a little advice: I fainted post-surgery and the dentist wouldn't let me leave her office without drinking a whole Gatorade (immediate fail!) I'd recommend bringing a compliant juice with you, just in case! Other than the Gatorade, I stayed on track, figuring if sugar was the only non-compliant item it shouldn't affect my whole30 too much I took a prescription a pain-killer and an antibiotic for about 5 days towards the end of my whole30 which threw my digestive system through a loop and left me bloated. Ultimately, I didn't feel like I had a clean slate to base reintro on and would recommend others to rest up, eat what you're hungry for, get better, and try again later
