kbreitmayer
I know that since Primal Kitchen was acquired by Kraft, they've been putting out lots of new products in a short amount of time. I noticed that the new No-Dairy Garlic Alfredo Sauce is compliant in its ingredients, but it's does not have the Whole30 approved label. I am wondering if this product is acceptable during my Whole30 (and if it's not "approved" yet just because of the rate of development of new products and it will be soon, or if it's SWYPO or something else)? https://www.primalkitchen.com/products/no-dairy-garlic-alfredo-sauce
Whole30 Certified Coach Terra Milliken Posted February 13, 2020 Whole30 Certified Coach Share Posted February 13, 2020 @kbreitmayer great question and observation! Technically this, nut cheeses, and dips ARE compliant (with compliant ingredients), but these items should be used with caution, especially if you rely on cheese as a comfort or stress-relieving food. Or if cheese is a trigger for other food cravings (like wine and crackers). We suggest that program participants use these items with caution and think about whether including these foods in Whole30 is a healthy-choice for them and their goals. Hope this helps!
