Moderators SugarcubeOD Posted March 2, 2020 Moderators Share Posted March 2, 2020 Have you read the rules of the program? You cannot have grains or sugar or dairy and you cannot recreate baked goods... a compliant item with cinnnamon in it is fine but Pop Tarts are not compliant.... bolded and red are all the non compliant ingredients in a cinnamon pop tart... just for your info INGREDIENTS: Enriched Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate [Vitamin B1], Riboflavin [Vitamin B2], Folic Acid), Brown Sugar (Sugar, Molasses), Soybean and Palm Oil (with TBHQ for Freshness), Corn Syrup, Dextrose, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Cracker Meal, Contains Two Percent or Less of Salt, Calcium Carbonate, Cornstarch, Leavening (Baking Soda, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Monocalcium Phosphate), Cinnamon, Wheat Starch, Gelatin, Caramel Color, Soy Lecithin, Vitamin A Palmitate, Niacinamide, Reduced Iron, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Thiamin Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Folic Acid. SchrodingersCat
In a pop tart the cinnamon would probably be the only thing that was compliant...
BabyBear
I’m hoping this is a facetious question, but in case it’s not.... You can eat anything you want, you are an adult, but pop tarts in any flavor are not whole 30 compliant... soooo .....
