Anna C
I had a few sips of Synergy Kombucha because there was no sugar included in the ingredients. But now that I'm looking at the Nutrition Facts, it says it contains a total of 12 grams of sugar! I've seen on other blogs that Synergy Kombucha is Whole30 approved, but now I'm not feeling confident...
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted June 18, 2020 Moderators Share Posted June 18, 2020 What you're looking for in any food or drink is sugar listed on the ingredients list, which would mean it's been added. Some foods have naturally occurring sugars, which will show up in the nutrition facts as total grams of sugar even if no sugar has been added. As long as there's no sugar listed in the ingredients, it's fine.
adperez79
Anna C, GT's Synergy Kombucha is our favorite! We love Gingerberry, Trilogy, and Passion Berry, so good! They don't add any sugar after fermentation, like other brands. So you are all good!
