Fruits and starchy vegetables

Hi, guys, I am doing the Whole30 for the first time and I am on day 8.

My main doubt is how much fruit and starchy vegetables should I eat a day. I've seen the meal templates, but I do not feel like eating too much at once, I was used to snacking a fruit in the afternoon, for example. And now I don't know how to include the fruit in my diet.

Should I choose between a fruit and a starchy vegetable or can I have both? Are there fruits that are better? Can I have fruit/starchy vegetables both at lunch and at dinner?
