ErinM16 1
Hi all- I am on my 3rd week of whole30. Feel great, knee pain gone, clothes fit better but I am just now having this issue with anal itching. Nothing else has changed- same toilet paper, detergent, etc. I googled it and found other whole30 folks experienced this so thought I would post here and see if anyone else has and if there are any solutions. I read it could be a food allergy. Edited November 11, 2020 by ErinM16 Spelling error Quote Link to post
laura_juggles 529
Is there something you've been eating a lot more of during your Whole30 than you used to? Quote Link to post
ErinM16 1
It might be the cashews- just found this: Let it be known that cashews, especially while eaten by the fistful from a giant family-size container, can cause a furious case of the itchy anus! SchrodingersCat 1 Quote Link to post

Lorna from Canada 238
Anal itching is often a sign of internal hemorrhoids and may be the only sign that you have them. Hemorrhoids are very common but, if you are concerned about this, you should consult a physician. Quote Link to post
Dankworth 0
Spicy food? Too much spicy food is only one potential dietary cause of anal itchiness. Quote Link to post
