katyroq
I was wondering if anyone knows of a good Asian sauce? Or has a recipe for one? Something to use instead of soy sauce, teryaki sauce, etc. I've done a bit of looking and saw a lot of recipes call for "fish sauce" but there is not a compliant one available at my (small) health food store or larger grocery store... Any help is appreciated; Thanks!
Della Nova
I use Coconut Aminos: http://www.coconutse...om/aminos2.html I am (and have always been) a huge fan of Soy Sauce and I honestly can't tell the difference between coconut aminos and soy sauce. I was able to pick this up at The Vitamin Shoppe and Whole Foods Market. Also, for Fish Sauce, there's Red Boat Fish Sauce: http://redboatfishsauce.com/. It took a lot of searching, but I was able to buy it from Whole Foods. If you don't have a Whole Foods Market near you, I would suggest getting it online. Definitely worth it (IMO). I can't suggest an alternative for the teriyaki though, but maybe someone else has some ideas.
