Jarred minced garlic w/ phosphoric acid

I have some of this leftover in my fridge and I'm wondering if it's ok to use for whole30? I know fresh is best, but just not wanting to waste. Ingredients are garlic, water and phosphoric acid. Anyone??

I would just go with fresh. I don't actually know what it's used for (maybe some kind of preservative). The easiest way to do whole30 is, when in doubt, just don't eat it.

Phosphoric acid isn't awesome - it's the stuff in soda that's been linked to decreased bone mineral density - but the amount you'd consume in your garlic shouldn't be troublesome, if you don't want to waste it. It's fine for your Whole30, but now you know to read your labels and find garlic without!
