Left_wondering
I'm on day 13, and have been super depressed for about a week. I thought it was all the cravings, but that's mostly gone away now. I've never had much depression before. Just wondering if this is common for dinner reason
Moderators ShannonM816 Posted November 16, 2021 Moderators Share Posted November 16, 2021 For some people, if they go too low carb, they may notice increased depression or anxiety. Be sure you're eating starchy vegetables like sweet potatoes, potatoes, and other root vegetables like carrots, turnips, parsnips, rutabaga, etc., winter squashes like acorn or butternut squash or pumpkin. This is also a time of year when many are dealing with seasonal depression, so this might also be contributing. Definitely talk to your doctor if this continues.
