Okay to workout with a huge bruise / haematoma on knee ?

After a silly slip and fall (not even exercising! :wacko: ) I have a huge bruise on my knee and I think I damaged a blood vessel under the skin. It's not as sore as it looks and just wondering if anyone has any experience working out with something like this. I feel fine, but not sure if it's a stupid idea to be working out today. My rest day was yesterday and I'd rather not have another if I don't need to.
