Melissa Spear
I've messed my knee up and my chiropractor said to start taking glucosamine. I bought it and then thought to check the ingredients--corn starch. Bad idea or necessary? Thanks for your insight!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 15, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2013 I would say save it for after your Whole30.
Melissa Spear
I've looked online and found other supplements that do not have it so looks like I'll be heading back to the store for a return! Thanks for your help!
Delaine Ross
I was very dissapointed when a Whole Foods supplement had that added in and I didn't notice til I got home.... Feeling your pain...
dblazer
Sorry for the slight cross-post, but I didn't find this before I posted in the "suplements" section. Does "modified corn starch" listed as one ingredient in the COATING on glucosamine-chondroitin tablets justify a re-start? I've taken two of them during my first two days, skipped today. Robin Strathdee
Modified corn starch is definitely on the "no" list, but here's some more context to the restart question: http://whole30.com/2014/06/really-start-whole30/
