El Paco Posted January 15, 2013 Share Posted January 15, 2013 Day 14 of eating clean and I have to say, I am either not eating enough or I am doing something wrong because I am starting to get extremely bored and annoyed with cooking all the time and having to say NO when I go out with friends and drinking water and black coffee everywhere. Sorry, I am just a really social person and this challenge is really making me think twice about doing this for longer than 30 days. I have learned a lot about my eating habits and I think I have found the root of my anxiety issues, but at the same time, I have been extremely hungry today after eating 3 eggs for breakfast with two chicken apple sausages which are sugar and gluten and hormone free, tilapia with spaghetti squash and broccoli and an organic mixed greens salad. Before CrossFit, I was starving, so I ate a small chicken breast with spaguetti squash before I left. Felt tired and weak during an easy WOD which really pissed me off. Came home and made ground beef with veggies for lunch tomorrow and I ate some for dinner too and I am just really hungry. I feel like I could eat a lot more right now. Please help. Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 15, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2013 If you are hungry, you are almost certainly not eating enough. That is easy to fix. Eat more. Eat 2 palm-size portions of protein with each meal or as many eggs as you can hold in one hand. I bet you can hold more than 3. Fill your plate with veggies cooked in one or two thumb-size portions of fat. Eat pre-workout and post workout snacks. Add a fourth meal if needed to eliminate hunger.
