kellyp
I bought a Honeysuckle White frozen turkey breast then when I got it home I looked at the lable and it contains a basting solution? WTH? Ingredients are: turkey broth, salt, sodium phosphate, sugar, flavoring. However, the nutritional label doesn't show any sugar. See image. On the front it says it may contain 12% of a solution. (can we get more vague?) Is this compliant or not? I decided not fix it until I hear back about it's compliance. Thanks!
Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 15, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 15, 2013 Keep it frozen until after your Whole30. The sugar in the basting solution makes it non-compliant.
kellyp
Thanks. That's what I thought. I was really craving that turkey too.
