athenaqueen1
Can I have Isagenix Dutch chocolate shake on the whole30? Today is my day 2 and I have this really bad headache, I feel hungry al the time and crave sugar. When hungry so far I reach for protein and veggies with some baked sweet potato chips I made paleo style. I'm havering a hard time thinking this would work. I love food and eating like that is not a problem for me. I keep thinking eating so much good fat is not going to help me lose weight. I need to lose 60 pounds. Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 16, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 16, 2013 No. Drinking a chocolate shake is a long way from eating real, whole foods. If you are hungry, eat more, but eat real food - protein, veggies, and plenty of healthy fats. If you have cravings, eat protein and fat to extinguish them, not anything sweet. athenaqueen1
Love the idea of eating fat and protein but will I be eating way too much? How big should the 3 meals be. 2 hours later I'm hungry
kb0426
I love food too! I am making a point of celebrating the real, whole foods I CAN have. Take 30, 60 , 90 days and change your relationship with food. Believe me, I understand what it is like to want to lose weight. I have been significantly heavier than I am today. I am firm believer in "do what you have always done, get what you have always gotten." This is a time to experiment and experience a whole new way! Moderators Tom Denham Posted January 16, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 16, 2013 Within the link kb0426 shared is a link to a page that explains how much you should eat. If you follow this plan, you will be satisfied and healthy. If you are hungry, you are not following this plan... http://whole9life.com/book/ISWF-Meal-Planning-Template.pdf
praxisproject
I found my meals got a lot bigger on Whole30, but I'm rarely hungry in between
lcbowling
We've been conditioned to believe that if we have a decent sized meal that we are eating too much. However, these same people tell us that we should be eating meals 5 or 6 times a day. It may take a while to figure out how to balance the fat in your food to curb cravings, but if you follow the advice that was given earlier (and figure out if its hunger or cravings) then you will be just fine. Trust the plan, it hasn't gotten where it is by not working. Day 2 is an all around sucky day anyway. LOL Hang in there.
