MrsStick
I make my own (Refrigerator) Pickles. The recipe calls for 1/4 cup of sugar, but if I leave it out could I have these? My main concern is whether the vinegar would be bad. I really just love pickles, and even more, I love knowing that the ingredients are clean (minus the sugar, anyway). http://thenotsoskinnybaker.wordpress.com/2011/07/29/refrigerator-pickles/ That's the recipe. If it's not allowed, or even if it is, does anyone have any other recipes for pickles that might fill the gap better than just taking out the sugar (these can have a bit of a kick because of the garlic)?
